Welcome to Verbsnap. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Verbsnap mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Verbsnap (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases.

4.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

4.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. You will be notified of any price changes in advance, and changes will apply to subsequent billing periods.

5.1 Our Content

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Verbsnap and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This includes our phrasal verb database, example sentences, AI-generated content, and user interface designs.

5.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERBSNAP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Verbsnap, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ecuador, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Verbsnap regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
